The 13th Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association Annual Meeting was held in Beijing on August 30
th-31
st, 2018, the meeting was organized by the Chinese Preventive Medicine Association, the China Center for Disease Control and Prevention and the Asia-Pacific Biosafety Association. The theme of the conference was “Developing Biosafety and Biosecurity Strategy in Accordance with Advanced Science and Technology Development and Changing Security Patterns”. Experts and scholars of biosafety from many countries participated in the conference, and discussed global health and safety strategical cooperation to cope with changing safety and biosecurity situations.
As a co-organizer of the meeting, Prof. Tao Wang and several staffs from the Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy of Tianjin University participated in the meeting.
