On May 7, 2019, "Tianjin University Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy -WuQing CDC United Laboratory" was formally established. A grand ceremony was held in Wuqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention. This “United Lab” is strongly supported by leaders of Tianjin University and Wuqing Hygiene and Health Committee. Prof. Zhu Xinli, Assistant Director of School of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University, Mrs. Song Jie, representative of Tianjin University CBRS Center, Mr. Jiang Hongliang, Deputy Director of Wuqing Hygiene and Health Committee, Mr. Xue Dingfeng, Director of the Disease Control Section of Wuqing Hygiene and Health Committee, Mr. Ding Zhanlin, Director of Wuqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Mr. Yu Guangping and Mr. Xu Zhiyuan, Deputy Director of Wuqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Dr. Sun Meiqing’s Research Team at Wuqing Center for Disease Control and Prevention, attended the ceremony.
