From April 19 to 21, “High-Level Biosafety Forum in National Post-Genomic Era” was held in Southwest University on the morning of April 20. Many experts in biosafety and biological invasion participated in this forum which is hosted by Southwest University, the National Insects Committee of Chinese Plant Protection Society and the Foreign Insects and Quarantine Committee of Chinese Entomological Society. Prof. Weiwen Zhang from Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy at Tianjin University was invited to attend the meeting.
