Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy of Tianjin University honored as member of the China Think Tank Index (CTTI) source and award for outstanding achievements in 2108

      On December 22^nd, 2018, members from the Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy of Tianjin University were invited to participate in the "2018 China Think Tank Governance and Ideological and Theoretical Communication Summit Forum" hosted by Nanjing University and Guangming Daily in Nanjing, China. The theme of the forum was “Building Think Tanks: Helping Reform, Openness, and High-Quality Development”. Nearly 800 representatives from different think tanks were invited to participate in the conference. Speakers form governmental ministries and think tanks made speeches.  
      In the meeting, Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy (CBRS) at Tianjin University was accepted as a member of the China Think Tank Index (CTTI). In addition, an article by center members of CBRS, Dr. Yang Xue and Prof. Youhai Sun, " Potential threats of new dual-use biotechnology to China's biosafety and possible solution" received the award from the China Think Tank Index (CTTI).
