The international seminar “Powerful actor, high impact bio-threats” was held at Wilton Park, affiliated to the British Foreign Office from November 7th to 9th, 2018. Biosafety experts from both governments and think tanks of different countries, including United States, Britain, Germany, Brazil, Malaysia and so on attended the workshop. Participants at the meeting expressed concerns about the development of biological threat hazards and their growing influence in recent years. Prof. Weiwen Zhang from Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy at Tianjin University was invited to attend the meeting.
