Experts from the CBRS spoke on the seminar on ＂Establishing International Codes of Conduct for Bioscientists＂ held in Tsinghua University-天津大学生物安全战略研究中心

To develop an international code of conduct for scientists working on dual-use biotechnology, a seminar of "Establishing International Codes of Conduct for Bioscientists" was held by Tsinghua-Carnegie Center for Global Policy in Beijing on October 31^st. Mrs. Yi Yang, Secretary-General of China Arms Control and Disarmament Association, Prof. Weiwen Zhang and Dr. Yang Xue from the Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy (CBRS) at Tianjin University, Mr. Yang Xiao, researcher from China Institute of Modern International Relations, and Dr. Elad Popovich of Tsinghua University were invited to speak for the seminar. The seminar attracted more than 30 participants from different countries and backgrounds, including experts and journalists from universities, research institutes and media.
