Recently, Center of Biosafety Research and Strategy(CBRS) was invited by United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) to join its International Network on Biotechnology (INB). CBRS also became the first member of INB working with UNICRI from China. Given the CBRS experts’ leadership role, CBRS would be an excellent contributor to the INB projects.
INB is a network of universities and research institutes committed to dual-use life science education and awareness raising, covering the themes of biosafety, biosecurity and bioethics. The INB also maintains an online portal that allows INB partners to share innovative educational materials, including awareness raising videos, model codes of conduct, e-learning modules, etc.
The United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute (UNICRI) is one of the five United Nations Research and Training Institutes. The Institute was founded in 1968 to assist the international community in formulating and implementing improved policies in the field of crime prevention and criminal justice.
