As one of the implementations to improve the national science and technology decision-making consultation system, CBRS was accredited as a "strategic research base" by the Science and Technology Committee of the Ministry of Education in December 2016.
Our overall goal is to meet the strategic, educational, and technological needs of national and global biosafety and biosecurity. We welcome biosafety experts and teams to join us and offer high-level academic communication and cooperation platforms. As a first-class new-type think tanks, CBRS will support the discipline construction and education in Tianjin Univ., and provide scientific basis and advice for national biosafety policies.
