To review the achievements, exchange experiences, and facilitate the promotion of think tanks in universities of Tianjin, the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission held the Think Tank Construction and Promotion Conference on September 27
th, 2018. Mr. Guangyu Xu, member of the party committee and deputy director of the Tianjin Education Commission, attended the meeting. Representatives of the Municipal Government Research Office, the Municipal Social Science Association, the Science and Technology Department of the Municipal Education Commission, the Strategy Office, and other attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Mr. Haili Bai, member of the party committee and deputy director of the Tianjin Education Commission. As one of the second batch of University think tanks of Tianjin, the Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy of Tianjin University was invited to attend and share the experiences with other think tanks in the meeting.
At the meeting, Prof. Weiwen Zhang, Director of the Center for Biosafety Research and Strategy, gave an speech entitled "Supporting China's International Efforts and Facilitating to Construct New Think Tank in Tianjin ".
